1870 (Dec. 10) Paris to Cette, folded letter postmarked "Paris, Belleville, 10 Dec. 70, 7E" double circle postmark, franked with 20c Cérès tied by numeral "432" losange cancel, no arrival marking, Very Fine. Estimate $150 - 200.
The mail from the 7E was the final mail of the day and as a result was processed the following day. An interest & lengthy letter about the Siege carried by the Ville de Paris which was captured by the Germans and as result there no arrival backstamps.
