May 28" cds on cover from the Wingate U.S. Consul correspondence endorsed "Via California", black "New York, May 28" foreign mail cds ties 10¢ stamp, magenta pink "San Francisco, Paid All, Jul 3" exchange cds, carried by PMSS Great Republic from San Francisco Jul. 3rd to Hong Kong arriving at Hong Kong Aug. 6th, reverse with Hong Kong (8.6) transit and Swatow (8.7) arrival cds; reduced slightly at left, Very Fine and choice.
