(Colusa) Tehama (Cal), April 13, manuscript postmark (COL-1890, R5) on 1853 folded letter to Rocheport, Mo., with "Paid 6" rating, forwarded to New Orleans, La. initial rating crossed out and "forwd 5" added; light stain at bottom, F.-V.F., the earliest Tehama postmark and the only known during the Colusa county period. Estimate $200 - 300.
