Machine Cancels, 1870s-1900s, approximately 600 including 75 or so Leavitt cancels from the 1870s-80s on post cards, two covers with 1881 experimental "Boston Mass. Oct 81" Leavitt (Type X1B Die I) experimental machine cancellation on 1¢ #182 circular rate uses, one with a double strike of cancellation; rest is 1880s-1930s with a good variety including some errors or other varieties in the cancels, not 1893 Fitchburg Mass. Barnard, 1890-95 Constantine uses, 1901 Geary "Bradford Pa" unlisted type similar to Hamner EX6; 1905-06 Silver Creek diamond machine; 1899 Memphis Tenn. "Street Fair" Barry cancel, flag cancels, etc; some with advertisements; mixed condition. Estimate $1,000 - 1,500.
