Packet Boat Postal Entires to Guatemala, 1892-1909, collection of 29 postal entires, virtually all originating in San Francisco (one from Mobile, Ala.); excellent range entires and ships including early 1892 Pacific Steamship Co. use with blue straight line "Ship" handstamp on 1887 5¢ Grant entire, other P.M.S.S. Co. marks including 1895 "City of Panama" oval agent handstamp on 5¢ Columbian entire, red straight line handstamp tying on uprated 1909 entire, 1907 purple "Rec'd" straight line date stamp, ship marks including 1897 "Str. "San Blas"" and 1901 "San Blas" straight lines, also a rare carriage with oval DDG Kosmos' "Memphis" handstamp tying, few illustrated ads, etc.; a wonderful assembly. Estimate $2,500 - 3,500.
