Monterey County Postal History Collection, extensive assembly of nearly 1,000 sleeved covers and cards arranged by towns; with most town marks represented in Williams with some additional post 1935 material, with better items including several Apricot cds's (MOT-30, R4), Blanco first type cds (MOT-140, R4), section of 1940-50's camp postmarks including Camp McCallum and Camp Roberts, Castroville first type cds (MOT-460, R4), early Chualar postmarks, scarce EKU Cruessville cds (MOT-680, R4), section of Fort Ord including real photo post cards, three 1896-99 Gem cds strikes (MOT-810, R4), two Gonzales first type cds's (MOT-820, R4), scarce 1873 Hollister second type cds (MOT-1050, R4) with only one other recorded, couple Imusdale manuscript postmarks (MOT-1060) with one registered usage, rare Jolon first type cds (MOT-1130, R4) with only one other recorded, scarce King City T&C cds's (MOT-1220, R4 & MOT-1230, R3), 1893 Mansfield transit cds (MOT-1500, R4), nice section of Monterey including early incoming, 1850's first type cds (MOT-1620) with rates including "40" handstamp, #35 usage, etc., and nice later usages including good franking, hotel ad, fancy cancel, #F1 registry, etc., Natividad manuscript postmarks (MOT-2000, R4), nice run of Pacific Grove postmarks including various color cds's and later monogram duplexes, unlisted 1895 registry postmark, 1887 Paraiso Springs corner card cover to France with illustrated view on reverse, rare 1859 Salinas manuscript (MOT-2690, R5) and later banknote era registered and use to Italy, 1860's San Antonio corrected cds (MOT-2940, R4), 1860's San Juan second type cds's (MOT-3100, R4), 1870's Solidad manuscript (MOT-3400, R4), etc.; a comprehensive array of postmarks with modest duplication to be excepted, generally F.-V.F.
