Confederacy, "Green Pond, May 2nd", manuscript postmark and matching pen strokes cancel each stamp of 5¢ green (1) horizontal pair, on blue cover to Richmond Va., forwarded with "Richmond Va., May 20, 1862" cds and framed "Forwarded 5" and additional "Due 5" handstamps to Bufords Bridge S.C.; small erosion hole and some light gum toning, otherwise Very Fine and scarce forwarded use.
