1938, 50¢ Presidential, vertical pair, used with two 10¢ Prexie (815) singles, all tied by strikes of "New York, Morgan Annex, Feb 24, 1944" duplex on large-size green Red Cross envelope from Prisoner of War Camp, Camp Swift, Texas to Geneva, Switzerland at four-times the 30¢ per ½ oz. airmail rate, "U.S. Censorship, Examined by 503" circular handstamp, Very Fine (photo on web site). Although normal air mail service to Switzerland was suspended from November 1942 to June 1945, express messages from POW's addressed to International Red Cross were allowed to pass through. This outer envelope was send from Camp Swift, Texas, censored in New York by POW censors and entered the mail stream at the 30¢ per ½ oz. rate.
