1857, 10¢ green, type III, horizontal strip of three, scissor separated with perfs clipped from the top, in combination with 1857, 3¢ dull red (26, s.e. at right) on cover to Bangkok, Thailand from the House correspondence, tied by red grid handstamps with matching "New Haven, Con., Nov 8, 1858" origin cds, endorsed "via Southampton & Singapore", "28" cent credit rating and "12" rating handstamp obliterated by grid handstamp, red London Paid transit cds, red "Boston Br. Pkt., Nov 9" exchange backstamp, docketed as received January 16, 1860 on reverse; address panel and endorsement lightened, F.-V.F., a scarce use to Siam. Scott No. 33 Estimate $750 - 1,000.
