Australian States: New South Wales, 1864 (Oct. 22) Sydney, New South Wales to Westport Conn. via London, cover bearing New South Wales, 2d blue, 6d violet (40) and 1s carmine (42), all cancelled by "N.S.W." oval duplexed with "Sydney, OC 22 '64" cds, red crayon "8" pence credit to G.B., carried by P&O Bombay via Southampton, red London Paid (12.22) transit cds and matching "16/Cents" credit handstamp to U.S., carried by Allan Line Nova Scotian from Londonderry Dec. 23rd to Portland arriving Dec. 4th, closed bag to Boston, bold "Boston AM. Pkt. '5' Jan 5" due exchange cds for 5¢ inland; reduced at left with some paper loss on reverse, Very Fine three-color franking.
