1869, 12¢ green, horizontal strip of four and single, strip with s.e. at left, in combination with 1869, 2¢ brown + 6¢ ultramarine on 1870 double rate cover to Lima, Peru from the Davis correspondence, all tied by small cork handstamps with matching "Portchester, N.Y., Mar 4" cds, red "24" credit handstamp and reverse with greenish blue "Lima, Abr 8, 1870" receiving date stamp; cover and stamp in strip slightly toned, small tear in 6¢, Very Fine appearance, illustrated in the 1869 Census book (page 23), ex-Ishikawa & Lafayette; with 2003 P.F. certificate.
