Ecuador, 1865, 1r Yellow Buff, Horizontal Strip of Nine and Single, strip positions 19-27, all canceled by fancy "Chimbo" flower circular handstamps prior to being applied to Judicial front to Guaranda, positions 23-24 in strip also show portion of previous manuscript, manuscript "19½ oz" weight endorsement at top, F.-V.F., a rare Postal Fraud usage of the 1r yellow issue, one of two such first issue postal fraud usage known, ex-Saá and Longhi.

This cover was part of the Saá collection in Ecuador after its find in an Ecuadorian archive. It was subsequently sold to Florenzo Longhi in Italy.
