Ecuador, 1865, 1r Yellow Buff, Horizontal Pair, ample to mostly large margins, tied by superb strike of red "Jipijapa" undated circular town handstamp on 1871 folded letter sheet to Valparaiso, Chile, carried at the single rate not exceeding ¼ oz. with involvement of PSNC carriage along the Pacific coast, from Guayaquil to Chile via Peru, Extremely Fine and choice, a magnificent and extremely rare usage from Jipijapa, ex-Bustamante, Longhi and Olgieser; with 2009 Moorhouse certificate.
