Uruguay, 1856, 80c green, rejoined vertical pair (positions 14 & 19), without gum, margins large to touching frameline at lower left, some slight thinning and hardly apparent soiling, Very Fine appearance, an exceedingly rare rejoined multiple, small quantities of the 80c value were found among the remainders in the late 19th century, these have been subsequently severed into singles, extremely few pairs have been rejoined, ex-Bustamante; with 1993 Holcombe and 2008 C.
