Nova Scotia, 1874 (May 10) Bordeaux, France to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, cover bearing France Siège 40c orange and Ceres 80c carmine, tied by "6307" lozenge cancels, matching Bordeaux (5.10) cds and red "PD" framed handstamp, blue Paris (5.11) departure backstamp, red London Paid transit cds, carried by Inman-Allan Line Austrian from Queenstown May 20th to Halifax arriving May 29th, reverse with Halifax (5.29) and Yarmouth arrival cds; flap tear, Very Fine.
Estimate    $500 - 750.

The sender prepaid cover at the 1.20F rate to the United States "voie d'Angleterre", which was 20c. overpaid ("Amerika" was in the address).
