AN EXCEPTIONALLY RARE 1¢ FULL-FACE MCKINLEY WITH THE LARGE "SPECIMEN" HANDSTAMP.

This "Specimen" handstamp was used from 1892 to 1901 in the Third Assistant Postmaster General's office for stamped envelopes and letter sheets in addition to postal cards.
