1902, 1¢ Black on Light Buff, "Full-Face McKinley" Die Proof with "Specimen" Handstamp, unfinished die of complete design but with dots on the portrait forehead highlight and unfinished rays about the eagle of the seal, on 140 x 85 mm dull faint y-o-yellow finely mottled opaque card with printed "DIE PROOF OF McKINLEY POSTAL CARD. ISSUE OF 1901" and with gray-black diagonal hand stamp "Specimen" type E (11 x 2 mm) under portrait; some light creasing and minor scuff on back, Very Fine appearance. Scott No. UX17PS var.
