Confederacy, Warrington, Fla., Oct. 14 (1862), cds tying 1862 5¢ blue (horizontal pair, four margins, small wrinkle) on cover to Selma, Ala., manuscript endorsement "Via Montgomery", flap defective, Very Fine, a nice use of the Warrington Fla. evacuation postmark struck at Pollard Ala., Warrington's postmaster, S. M. Davidson, used this device at Pollard from June 15 thru Nov. 12, 1862, this is a very choice example. Scott No. 6 Estimate $300 - 400.
