Mexico, 1868 Full Face Hidalgo Issue Balance, 24 covers and 3 fronts, most mounted for exhibition, 21 of which are from sub offices, one has two 6c and a 12c Guadalajara tied together by Nochistlan and another has 50c Queretaro 12-69 tied by S. Juan Del Rio, fancy Alamos (tying 25c Ures) on front is probably the best cancel (Schatzkes 1733), eleven of twelve on and off piece items have sub-office cancels, a 6c Toluca 16-70 perf'd pair, an 1871 stampless from Progreso (Merida district) bears a beautiful official handstamp perfectly struck, generally Very Fine.
