1858 (Aug. 9) New York, N.Y. to Plymouth, England, datelined folded letter sent unpaid with "N. York Br. Pkt. '5' Aug 10" debit exchange cds to G.B., carried on Cunard Line Europa from Boston Aug. 11th, she collided with Arabia near Cape Race and put into St. John's, Newfoundland for repairs, mail and passengers were picked up at Halifax by Cunard Line Persia that arrived at Liverpool on Aug. 28th, Liverpool America (8.28) backstamp and matching "1/-" due handstamp, Plymouth (8.29) arrival cds, F.-V.F., ex-Graham Booth.
Estimate    $300 - 400.
