Mexico, 1865, Eagle (4th Period), ½r lilac, Mazatlan, cons 191-1865, clear to large margins, tied by light Mazatlan boxed date stamp (Schatzkes 739) on 1865 printed notice to Guadalajara, manuscript "Impreso" to identify it as an advertising letter justifying the ½ real rate, forwarded by Raynaud Sestier Y Cia (who imported European goods), Very Fine, a very rare circular rate usage, illustrated in Pietsch Imperial Eagles of Mexico 1864-66 (page 203).
