Worldwide, Olympic Collection, 1896, a small collection mounted on album pages, all neatly written up covering the 1896 Olympics in Athens, a variety of material is present which includes a stunning registered cover front franked with the 1896 1L-1D Olympic Issue to Germany, stamps tied by "Athens, June 28, 1896" postmarks, plus 25L Olympic tied on cover to Germany, and large size registered cover to Austria franked with 25L Perf. Small Hermes Head + 60L Olympic issue tied by Athens postmark, a great lot for the specialist. Estimate $1,000 - 1,500.
