Julia Reagan was the daughter of Brigadier General James H. Reagan of the Tenn. Militia. He was also the Postmaster of Facility Tenn. for over forty years. The town is now known as Reagan Station Tenn. The five stampless recorded examples of this patriotic design comprise four used from Corinth, Miss. and the example offered here from Germantown Tenn (currently a suburb of Memphis). It is probable that this design was printed in Corinth.
