1923, 10¢ orange, imperf, horizontal pair, without gum as issued, full even margins showing portion of guideline at right edge, rich vibrant color, Extremely Fine, a rare pair unmarked by blue pencils marks; Ward handstamp, with 2011 P.F. certificate. Scott No. 562b $2,250 for no gum.
Only two panes of this imperforate where issued. Both panes contained large areas of blue pencil marks, defaced by inspector's. It is estimated that only 40 to 50 unmarked pairs exist.
