1852, 3¢ dull red, type II, two singles, mostly four margins, cancelled by ms. squiggles and left tied by matching "Way" rating on 1853 cover to Brougg, Switzerland, light strike of red "New-York Br. Pkt. Nov 30" exchange cds, carried by Cunard Line Arabia from New York Nov. 30th to Liverpool arriving Dec. 11th, red London (12.12) transit backstamp, stamps tied by red French transit cds, reverse with Basel transit cds and Brugg arrival cds, red crayon rating at center and manuscript "8/2" rating at top left, Very Fine.
