1863 (Oct. 12) Cleveland Oh. to Baden, Germany, orange buff cover bearing 1¢ blue (63), 3¢ rose (65) and two 12¢ black (69) singles, all tied by circular grid cancels duplexed with "Cleveland O. Oct 12" cds, red "N.York Am. Pkt. '7 Paid' Oct 17" exchange cds, prepaid 28¢ Prussian Closed Mail rate, carried by Hapag Saxonia from New York Oct. 17th to Hamburg arriving Oct. 31st, red "Aachen Franco 30/10" framed transit, Bahnpost (10.31) and Schoenau (11.1) backstamps; right 12¢ torn, no bottom flap and some edge flaws, F.-V.F., ex-Tom Allen.
