Mexico, 1885, 5c ultramarine, tied by grid handstamp on return receipt of a letter from Mazatlan to Hamburg, dated August 1886 (form 276), this is one of a handful of examples of these receipts, Very Fine, soon after this date the procedure changed and the payment of AR rate was to be attached to the cover, which explains why there are so few examples with the stamp attached to the form.
