Confederacy, 1861 c., two stampless covers from Corp. E. Dubose, Rutledge Mounted Riflemen, two covers military endorsed to Mr. Edwin Dubose at Black Oak S.C., one with sharp "Pocotaligo S.C. 17 Nov" cds and manuscript "due 5cts" rating, other with manuscript "Coosawhatchie, Nov 28" postmark and "due 5" rating, Very Fine.
Estimate    $200 - 300.

Corporal Dubose served in the "Siege Train" that protected the area between Charleston and Savannah after the invasion of Port Royal by the North.
