'3 Paid' Feb 25" cds, endorsed "Via New Orleans", bold "Vera Cruz Mar 20 '4" cds and matching "4" reales due rating handstamp, cover repaired at left, Fine appearance.

This cover is part of a similar correspondence from Charleston S.C. addressed to the American mission led by Gen. Gadsden while he was entrusted with ending the incipient boundary dispute with Mexico.
