From October 1858 to May 1861, Leathers and Holmes were contracted for Route 7312 Vicksburg to Greenwood at $14,875 a year for three times a week service. In September 1865 after the Civil War, this route was contracted as 7202 to S.E. Ogden at $2,900 a year for three times a week service.
The "Dew Drop" of 184 tons was built in 1858 for Capt. Parisot of Vicksburg.
