Steamboat "St. Martin", manuscript endorsement on folded bill of accountant datelined "Nouvelle Orleans 15 Mars 1833" addressed to the cotton plantation Delage at the False River located in Port Coupee Parish, carried to Hermitage located opposite Port Hudson at the mouth off the False River, treated as Bill of Lading even though not endorsed, Very Fine.
Estimate    $300 - 400.

The "St. Martin" of 143 tons was built at New Albany Ind. in 1832 and enrolled at New Orleans in May 1833 with the Union Steamboat Co. as owner.
