Steamer H.M. Wright, red oval handstamp on buff cover addressed to Warrenton Miss., bearing uncancelled 3¢ dull red (11A), carried outside the mails on Route 7511; reduced at right, internal cover tear affects margin, Fine, a scarce marking. Milgram No. 609 Estimate $200 - 300.
The H.M. Wright of 366 tons was built for the New Orleans - Vicksburg trade and owned by J.W. Arthur & Co. and Capt. J.D. Clarke who was also her Master. Sold June 1954 to Capt. Charles H. Manson.
