Arizola, Ariz, Jan 22, 1901 (Pinal), deep purple cds (Meyer 3, rarity 7) on cover to San Diego, Cal., franked with 2¢ Bureau tied by matching target handstamp, receiving backstamp; few sealed opening tears at top edge, otherwise Very Fine, the Only Recorded Example of This Townmark From Arizola.

Arizola was a station and farming community on S. P. R. R. 26 miles east of Maricopa, Established in 1892 by a man named Thomas from Carthage, Mo. His daughter's name was Ola and he named the town from part of Arizona and her name.
