Express, Jamestown" handstamp and matching "Paid" in oval handstamp, entering the mails with red "New York Am. Pkt., 23, Apr 2" cds canceling indicia, various rate markings and reverse with Paris transit and 1856 receiving cds's; some cover edge wear, F.-V.F., a very scarce usage to Italy, ex Kramer.
