1908, 1¢ green, imperf, right plate number "4980" block of six with small solid star and Bureau imprint, full margins, deep color, o.g., gum crease, couple small stain spots in margin, Very Fine appearance, a scarce example of the small solid star plate block. Scott No. 343 $675.
From February 1909, sheets had vertical gutters 3mm wide in the outer columns and 2mm wide in the inner columns. These plates were identified with a solid or open star in the margin and are called star plates.
