THIS IS THE EARLIEST RECORDED DATE OF USE FOR THIS HOMEMADE POSTMARK.

This new handmade townmark for Camp Floyd was made in early 1859. According to the numbering system, during the previous two months and 11 days, Major Porter had written his wife 11 letters.
