To Paris, France, Shepard correspondence mourning cover bearing 1863, 15¢ black, tied by two strikes of cork cancel duplexed with Buffalo cds, black "Boston '6' Sep 11" debit exchange cds and matching framed "Short Paid" handstamp, red Calais (9.22) entry cds and sharp strike of black "16" decimes due handstamp, Paris (9.22) arrival backstamp, matching 1867 mourning enclosure accompanies, Very Fine and choice use, 30¢ double French Mail rate underpaid by 15¢ and treated wholly unpaid with 30¢ due, 6¢ debit for British packet service., ex-Turner.
