Empire imperf issue, margins to touched, tied by "1495" diamond lozenge, red "Bureau Maritime, Le Havre, 13 Nov 57" origin cds and matching "PD" framed handstamp, grayish black "Fr Service" framed handstamp, carried by Vanderbilt Line Vanderbilt from Havre Nov. 14 to New York arriving Nov. 26, red "New York 'Paid 15' Nov 26" exchange cds, Very Fine.

One of only three recorded letters carried on a Vanderbilt Line voyage rated as French packet.
