1839-1876 U.S.-France Mails - Non-Contract Steamships, group of 15 stamped covers from France plus 5 stampless covers, pre-1857 treaty franked for 30c. or double 60c. rates with France #14, 15 or #15, 18 for double, 1857 treaty franked for 80c with France #28; New York due ratings mostly "6" cent handstamp, better stampless with 1839 New York to Bordeaux carried by "Liverpool" and 1848 New York to France carried by Black Ball Line "United States", F.-V.F. group.
