Liberia, Harper Liberia, Paid (type CP.13A) provisional handstamp on seven 1920-32 stampless covers used during shortages of postage stamps; includes usages from 1920 (3 to N.Y.), 1927 to Chicago, 1929 to England, 1931 use in red (approximately 2 year later than recorded by Cockrill), 1932 to Monrovia in purple with additional matching cover with manuscript "Paid", also some additional 1929 registered recieipts from Harper, F.-V.F., a very scarce group. Estimate $300 - 400.
