Great Britain, 1884 Hand-illustrated covers, group of ten covers by the same artist featuring a number of subjects portrayed in skillfully rendered pen & ink drawings, all addressed in a humorous fashion to one Jack Archbold of Fratton, Portsmouth; all but one (a 1d stamped envelope) are franked with a 1d lilac tied by various London S.W. duplexes between March and November of 1884, some minor toning or edge wear, a F.-V.F. and very attractive group. Estimate $750 - 1,000.
