Receiving cds on cover from Valparaiso, Chile, with matching "10" rate and "FOREIGN" straight line handstamp, red "Paid -To Panama" handstamp and red crayon "1/-" British postage paid, "Panama, Oc 5, 1864" transit and Valparaiso origin backstamp, Very Fine, an extremely rare use of the San Francisco "FOREIGN" handstamp used for a very short time at the end of 1864, pictured in Coburn's Letters of Gold (pg. 337).
