Folded letter sheet franked with 1851, 1¢ blue, type IV, two singles + 3¢ dull red, vivid colors, tied by grid handstamps, sent at 5¢ per half ounce with "8" decimes due the addressee (rate January 1st thru March 31st of 1857), red "New York, Br. Pkt., Feb 18" exchange cds; letter sheet with side flaps missing, Very Fine and choice, a lovely "three months cover", ex Noel. Scott No. 9+11 Estimate $400 - 600.
