In combination with 1895, 1d green, vertical pair on cover to Lyon, France, tied by "Apia, Samoa, Dec 28, 98" cds's, manuscript via San Francisco endorsement, with "N-Z Marine P.O." and receiving backstamps; portion of address panel obliterated (Monsieur l'Abbe Hervier), otherwise Very Fine, a rare combination (Odenweller 810).
