Vertical strip of three, bottom stamp Relief F (10th row) with projections at top and bottom only partially removed, well-centered, minor perf tip gum toning, tied by large "New Orleans La. 14 Jan." (1861) cds's on blue folded letter to Gironde, France, red "New York Paid 6" credit datestamp, red "P.D." in frame, French transit datestamps front and back, some minor bleaching along file fold, Very Fine, an extremely choice strip showing combination of Type II reliefs, late Federal usage from New Orleans--Louisiana seceded from the Union on January 26, 1861--ex-Grunin and Zoellner.
