(1861) cds's on blue folded letter to Gironde, France, red "New York Paid 6" credit datestamp, red "P.D." in frame, French transit datestamps front and back, some minor bleaching along file fold, Very Fine, an extremely choice strip showing combination of Type II reliefs, late Federal usage from New Orleans--Louisiana seceded from the Union on January 26, 1861--ex-Grunin and Zoellner.
