Stars in Field flag cancel tying 1¢ Wash-Frank on picture post card to Washington D.C., Very Fine, Listed in the first edition of the Flag Cancel Encyclopedia, noted in the second edition as a collector made fantasy, then disappeared from the record. This is likely the only example. Unusual since other fantasy flags have been continually listed. There may be more to the story as this was kept with other prized rare flags. Estimate $300 - 400.
