Similar designs on two 2¢ carmine legal size entires to Milwaukee, Wisc., each canceled by 1910 New Orleans, La. machine postmarks, one uprated with 2¢ Wash-Frank and with some cover tears at top and right, F.-V.F. overall. Estimate $100 - 150.
San Francisco competed with New Orleans to host the Panama Pacific Exposition. Congress voted in January 1911, with San Francisco winning.
