In combination with 1880, 6¢ violet, stamps dwarf cut to imperf., tied together by six bar cancels on registered cover to Heidelburg, Germany, matching "Monrovia, Liberia, Mar 11, 1881" cds and two strikes registry boxed date stamps (type CR.1), British transit date stamps and blue crayon "Coln" routing tying 2¢ with appropriate etiquette, receiving backstamp, Very Fine, a very early registered usage to Germany with registry date stamp used two years earlier than recorded.
