Cds with "Paid" handstamp with manuscript "5" rate on cover to Richmond, the manuscript rate was corrected to "10" as this was over 500 miles, forwarded to Camden, S.C. with "Richmond, Va./Feb. 22, 1862" cds (Powell #2c) & boxed "Forwarded 5" handstamp, cover forwarded a second time with red "Camden, S.C./Feb. 26" cds to Columbia, flap tear which extends just onto front, F.-V.F., a wonderful usage. Estimate $1,500 - 2,000.
