In red & blue on yellow envelope with Riches, Columbus imprint, franked with pen-canceled 24¢ steel blue to England, red "3" credit handstamp and London entry cds, Feb 3, 1862; backstamped Attleborough the same day and Hingham-Norf'k, Feb 4; addressed to a Mrs. S. Cudbird and endorsed on reverse by sender "H Cudbird, Warsaw Kosciusko Co., Indiana"; small cover tear at top, otherwise F.-V.F., a rare and possibly unique usage of the 24¢ steel blue on an overseas patriotic cover; with 1988 P.S.E. certificate and accompanied by a R. Graham cover analysis.
